說到 as…as…

📌 as + 形容詞/副詞 + as

My feet are as cold as ice.

Columbus sings as well as Bruno Mars.

Olivia felt unwell and looked as white as a sheet.

Wendy couldn’t even say a word when she became as timid as a mouse on stage.
Wendy

Steve is as tall as his father (is).
Steve

Dora walked as slowly as her grandpa (did) after she injured her legs.
Dora

The Math test is not as easy as the English test.

William is not as busy as his supervisor.
William

Rita does not speak English as fluently as her brother.
Rita

📌 as + many/much 名詞 + as

Owen has as many guitars as Ella.

📌 as + 形容詞/副詞 + as possible

The chef always keeps the kitchen counter as clean as possible.

To win the contest, Ally swam as fast as possible.

📌 as + 形容詞/副詞 + as + 人 can/could

除了 as…as possible,你也可以將 possible 改成「人加上 can 或 could」,一樣可以表示「盡可能⋯⋯」。

Keith kept as quiet as he could when studying in the library.
Keith

Tom Cruise’s house is ten times as big as mine.

Pam’s jacket is four times as expensive as Danny’s.

The car cost three times as much as I had expected.

The kangaroo can jump twice as high as the rabbit.

📌 倍數詞 + as + many/much 名詞 + as

那就是 as + many/much 名詞 + as。

Ashley has twice as many bags as his boyfriend.
Ashley

Vickey took three times as many photos as her classmate.
Vickey
