農曆/國曆 日期怎麼寫？格式是？

Hey guys! 我是英文庫的 Cecilia，我們所使用的月曆，有農曆和國曆的差別，其中除了台灣，也有不少國家的人是以農曆慶祝生日和節日，但它們的英文格式和日期究竟差在哪裡，又要怎麼寫，可就考倒很多人了，今天就不要再霧裡看花，一起來當柯南，讓一切真相大白吧！ 😎

首先，無論是「日曆、年曆、行事曆、曆法、日程表」，都是使用 calendar 這個字，以下的國曆和農曆也都是以它延伸而來。

國曆日期英文寫法

國曆又稱為陽曆，英文是 solar calendar，solar 指「太陽的」。

此外，Gregorian calendar（葛瑞格里曆）是目前我們所使用日曆的官方名稱，也通行於世界各國，它是由羅馬大公教會教宗葛瑞格里十三世（Gregory XIII）在 1582 年頒行的，也就是我們通用的公曆、國曆，又稱為基督曆。

Most countries use solar calendars because they’re generally more useful to humans.
大部分的國家使用國曆，因為它們對人們來說普遍更為實用。

The Egyptians developed the earliest solar calendar in 4236 BC.
埃及人於西元前 4236 年發展出最早的太陽曆。

Every year Mother’s Day falls on a different day of the Gregorian calendar.
每一年的母親節都落在國曆的不同天。

以節日的格式來說，由於多數日期固定，可以直接以月份加上日期（序數）表示，代表日期的序數詞詞尾（-st、-nd、-rd 或 -th）均可省略，例如：教師節在九月二十八日，英文格式可寫作 Sep 28th 或 Sep. 28，基本上以這樣的格式表達，就足以代表國曆。

但如果想更強調國曆，可以在日期後加上 of the solar calendar（陽曆的 …），變成 Sep 28th of the solar calendar（陽曆九月二十八日）。

端午節落在陽曆的六月二十五日。

在西方世界裡，以陽曆表達不固定日期的節日時，有時候會以「第幾個月的第幾個禮拜幾」表示。

以英文闡述時間時，單位大多由小到大排列，由星期到月份，以「the + 序數 + 禮拜/星期 + of month（月份）」表達，再加上 of the solar calendar 示意為陽曆。像是美國和台灣同樣在五月的第二個禮拜日慶祝母親節，就會寫成 the 2nd Sunday of May。

In many countries, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May of the solar calendar.
很多國家在陽曆五月的第二個星期天慶祝母親節。

農曆日期英文寫法

農曆又稱為陰曆，英文是 lunar calendar，lunar 指「月亮的」。

除了台灣以外，在華人世界中，仍有不少國家使用陰曆，包含韓國、越南、日本等，因為對於農耕社會而言，陰曆比較容易觀察，進而能掌握季節與氣候的變換，也得以用來看日子、觀察季節變化、節慶習俗等，當然至今仍有許多人還是以農曆計算生日，更保留初一十五等習俗。

Some people calculate their birthdays and ages according to the lunar calendar.
有些人根據農曆計算他們的生日和年齡。

Every 19 years after your birth date, the Gregorian date will fall in the same date of lunar date.
你的生日每隔十九年，國曆和農曆的日期會落在同一天。

Today is my 20th birthday according to the lunar calendar.
今天是我農曆二十歲的生日。

因農曆為按照月亮週期編寫的曆法，以節日來說，日期並不固定，大多會直接以「農曆的第幾個月的第幾天」表示，，也就是「序數 + day（天） of the 序數 + month（月份）」，再加上 of the lunar calendar 示意為農曆，例如：農曆九月十五日為 the 15th day of the 9th month of the lunar calendar 。

Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the 9th month of the lunar calendar.
中秋節在農曆九月十五日舉行。

I eat vegetarian (meals) on the 1st and 15th of the lunar calendar.
= On the 1st and 15th of every lunar month I eat vegetarian (meals).
我在初一十五吃素。

另一種寫法大同小異，可在月份前加上 lunar，改成 lunar month，也就是「序數 + day（天） of the 序數 + lunar month（農曆月份）」，例如：元宵節是一月十五日，就是 15th day of the 1st lunar month、七夕是七月七日，等於 7th day of the 7th lunar month，依此類推。

Chinese Valentine’s Day falls on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month.
七夕情人節落在農曆七月七日。（代表農曆第七個月的第七天）

I always celebrate my birthday on lunar November 19th.
我總是慶祝我農曆 11 月 19 日的生日。

A: When is your lunar birthday?
你的農曆生日是什麼時候？

B: My birthday falls on the fifteenth day of the sixth lunar month.
=The fifteenth day of the sixth lunar month is my birthday.
我的農曆生日是六月十五日。

談到農曆的月份別稱，大多與節氣的特徵意涵接近，古代的中國人按照他們的風俗和自然命名每個農曆月份，舉例：舉行的祭祀、盛開的花朵或是重要的節日。以下為以花命名的農曆各月份的別稱。

其他常見日曆名稱

• 儒略曆（Julian Calendar）：格里曆的前身。
• 羅馬曆（The Roman Calendar）：實行於古代羅馬王政時期的曆法，為儒略曆的前身。
• 古埃及曆（Egyptian Calendar）：人類歷史上最早的曆法。
• 伊斯蘭曆（Islamic Calendar）：目前伊斯蘭教國家通用的曆法。
• 希伯來曆（Hebrew Calendar）：又稱猶太曆，是以色列目前使用的國曆。

農曆新年一般落在陽曆的一月二十一日至二月二十日之間。

今天是我農曆三十一歲的生日。

It’s my 31st birthday according to the lunar calendar today.

④ My G＿＿＿＿ birth date of ＿＿＿＿ falls on ＿＿＿＿ of the lunar calendar this year.
我今年一月十一日的陽曆生日落在農曆的三月五日。

My Gregorian birth date of January 11th falls on the 5th day of the 3rd month of the lunar calendar this year.

➡️ 格里曆的英文同陽曆為 Gregorian。三月五日需使用農曆格式，以第三個月的第五天表示。

⑤ My father used to schedule his farming activities according to the ＿＿＿＿ instead of the ＿＿＿＿ because he believed the former was more accurate.
我爸爸以前會根據農曆而非陽曆來計畫種田的時間表，因為他認為農曆更為準確。

➡️ according to 表示「根據」，instead of 是「而不是…」，故在此答案為 lunar calendar，再來是 solar calendar。
