今天要跟大家分享「滑手機」的英文怎麼說！
滑手機已然成為現代人生活的一部份，相信各位身邊一定有不少愛滑手機的朋友！🤳
就讓我帶大家來學學滑手機的英文吧～😉
一般在提到「滑手機」時，在英文和中文其實有不同的解讀和定義。
滑手機的英文是 playing on one’s phone 或是 looking at one’s phone。
以上這兩個用法在英文裡偏向指「玩手機」的意思。
但中文講「滑手機」，除了指「玩手機」這件事，還包含了「滑」這個動作。如果想翻譯成英文的話，其實說 playing on one’s phone 就很貼近了！
而如果想強調「滑」這個動作，用 scroll 這個單字較接近中文所形容「滑手機」的意思，特別是指滑 Facebook、Instagram 等社群網站。
另外，還有一個字 phub 可以用來指「因滑手機而冷漠他人」的行為。📱

滑手機的英文是 playing on one’s phone，就是指玩手機的意思。
Hey! Stop playing on your phone! You have been stuck to it for hours.
嘿！不要再玩手機了！你已經玩好幾個小時了Josh likes to play on his phone while sitting on the toilet.
Josh 喜歡在上廁所的時候玩手機Playing on your phone all the time may cause neck and shoulder pain.

looking at one’s phone
滑手機的英文也可以說 looking at one’s phone，就是指「一直盯著手機」的意思。
She keeps looking at her phone for fear of missing out on any new messages.
她一直盯著手機，深怕錯過任何新訊息Looking at your phone won’t relieve your boredom.
盯著手機看並不會減輕你的無聊感How many times have you looked at your phone in the last 30 minutes?
剛剛的三十分鐘裡你看了幾次手機？
scroll
滑手機的英文還可以用 scroll 這個動詞來形容。
相較於 swipe / slide 可以指左右滑、上下滑的意思。scroll 這個字特別強調的是「上下捲動頁面」，也就是當你在滑 Facebook、Instagram、twitter 等社群網站時，不停往下滑動的這個動作。
這個單字也很貼近中文所說的「滑」手機的意思。
My sister likes to scroll through Instagram to see some beautiful pictures.
我妹喜歡滑 Instagram 看一些美照We spend lots of time scrolling through other people’s news feeds every day.
我們每天花很多時間滑別人的動態Try to avoid mindless scrolling and put limits on using your phone.
盡量避免滑手機的無意義行為，並限制使用手機的時間We should stop scrolling and enjoy living more often.

phub
phub 當動詞使用，是由 phone (電話) ＋ snub (冷漠) 組合而成，用來形容現代人「因為滑手機而冷漠別人」的行為。在中文我們習慣將這樣的人稱為「低頭族」，而低頭族的英文就可以說： phubber。
phub 這個字原本是澳洲的麥考瑞詞典 (Macquarie Dictionary) 委託廣告公司發想， 但這個詞最後並沒有變成母語人士的慣用語，只能算是一個特別的說法。
Phubbing has become more and more common nowadays.
現在低頭滑手機的現象已經越來越普遍了Max was phubbing me the whole time when we went on a date.
Max 和我約會時都在低頭滑手機I felt phubbed by my friend because she kept using her phone.
我覺得我被朋友冷落了，因為她一直在用手機Phubbers are less connected to the real world.
