意思#1： 這樣的、那樣的
Such 也可以表示「這樣的、那樣的」，後面接名詞。
I can’t make such a decision. I need some time to think it through.
我不能做這樣的決定，我需要時間好好考慮。To make such a change, we have to work as a team.
要做出這樣的改變，我們必須團隊協作。There is no such thing as a free lunch.
天下沒有白吃的午餐。（沒有「免費的午餐」這樣的事情存在。）
意思#2: 如此、這麼
Such 放在名詞、名詞片語前面，強調接在後面的內容。
She has such a beautiful voice.
她的聲音如此美妙。I am grateful that he gave me such a great opportunity.
我很感激他給我這麼好的機會。Timmy is such a quiet cat.
Timmy 這隻貓如此安靜。
💡小提醒：如果 such 後面接的是單數名詞，就必須是 such a/an ，不可以顛倒過來，寫成 a/an such。

⭕️ Timmy is such a quiet cat.
Such … that 的用法
Such … that 是表示「如此…以致於」的意思。
I was such a fast runner that no one could catch me.
（這裡的 fast 是形容詞，形容名詞「跑者」很快）
我跑太快，以致於沒人追得上我。
such…that 的 such 後面接名詞，so…that 的 so 後面加形容詞/副詞。
It’s such a great film that I would like to watch it one more time.
The film is so great that I would like to watch it one more time.
這是很棒的電影，我想要再看一次。
so 和 such 的差別？
so 和 such 都有「如此、這麼」用來強調的意思。

such as 的用法
such as 是「例如、像是」的意思，舉例說明「一個或多個例子」。
such as 前面不加逗號：當拿掉例子會影響句子意思時。
European countries such as Iceland and Norway are not members of the EU.
歐洲國家例如冰島和挪威，不是歐盟的成員國。
（ 👉🏻拿掉 such as 舉例的非歐盟國家，意思改變，所以 such as 前面不加逗號。）Healthy drinks such as green tea are popular in Taiwan.
像是綠茶之類的健康飲料在臺灣很受歡迎。
（ 👉🏻拿掉 such as green tea，意思改變，所以 such as 前面不加逗號。）
such as 前面加上逗號：當拿掉例子不影響句子意思時。
I want to visit Mediterranean countries, such as Spain and Italy.
我想去地中海國家玩，像是西班牙和義大利。
（ 👉🏻拿掉 such as Spain and Italy，意思不變，所以 such as 前面用加逗號。）We like all kinds of flowers, such as orchids, sunflowers, and lilies.
我們喜歡各式各樣的花，像是蘭花、向日葵和百合花。
（ 👉🏻拿掉 such as 舉例的花，意思不變，所以 such as 前面用加逗號。）
such as 意思跟用法與 like 相近，但比起 like 會更正式、更常在寫作上使用。
