雖然 thus 跟 so 意思相似，但它們是有兩個 ✌️ 差別的 。第一個是相較於 so，thus 比較正式，較常出現在寫作。第二個是雖然 so 是連接詞，但 thus 是副詞！是副詞！是副詞！正因為很多人都沒注意到 thus 是副詞的關係，所以常會寫出像下面這樣的錯誤句子。
More employees will attend the meeting, thus they will need more chairs. ❌
注意注意！在英文裡，⚠️ 副詞的話，不能像上面的例句一樣，只加逗號就連接兩個子句，必須要改寫才行。以下就將能夠替換的三種寫法解析給你看看。如果你覺得一次要記下來全部會有點負擔，其實可以先記熟其中一種用法就好囉，例如第一種或第二種，通常大家會覺得這兩種比較好上手👍。

➡ 前面用句號，此時 Thus 要大寫。Thus 後面一般會有逗號，但也可省略。

➡ 前面用逗號，另外加上連接詞 and。

➡ 前面用分號，此時 thus 小寫即可。thus 後面一般會有逗號，但也可省略。

那間店會漲價來增加營收。They bought new equipment, thus reducing the cost of labor.
