在表達意見時，常常會用到「我認為⋯⋯」，相信大家第一個想到的用法會是 I think…，不過這個說法是不是有點用到或聽到膩了呢？今天就帶大家看看「認為」除了 think 還有哪些動詞可以用吧！
預告一下～以下會依序介紹 think、consider、regard、perceive、reckon、believe 這六個可以作為「認為」的動詞唷～
1. think
首先，不免俗還是先從 think 介紹起，看完你就會發現其實 think 有好幾種用法唷！
think (that)…
think 常會搭配 that 子句，這算是最普遍、常用的用法，而這個 that 是可以省略的，例如：
I think (that) Benson’s ideas are impractical.
我覺得 Benson 的想法是不切實際的。Do you think (that) Dora will get that job?
你認為 Dora 會得到那份工作嗎？I don’t think (that) Chris is a suitable candidate for the position.
我認為 Chris 不是那個職位的適合人選。
think of/about
如果後面要放名詞，可以用 think of/about，此用法通常會在下面的問句來詢問對方的意見：
What do you think of/about this movie?
你覺得這部電影如何？What did you think of/about this idea?
你認為這個主意怎麼樣？
think of… as…
這個用法的意思是「認為…是…／把…視為…」，你可以觀察例句中 as 後面放了什麼唷～
The foreigner thinks of Taiwan as his second home.
那個外國人把台灣視為他第二個家。Nancy thinks of Randy as her Mr. Right.
Nancy 認為 Randy 是她的真命天子。I used to think of children as annoying.
我以前覺得小孩很煩人。
有沒有發現 as 後面可以放名詞或形容詞唷～
那這個用法也常會用被動語態 (be thought of as) 來表示，這時候是「誰認為的」就沒那麼重要了，通常是表示人們都這麼認為。
同時，這裡也補充另一個被動的用法為 be thought to be，例如：
Michael Jordan is widely thought of as the best basketball player.
Michael Jordan 被普遍認為是最棒的籃球員。He was thought to be very serious because he seldom laughed.
他以前被認為很嚴肅，因為他不太常笑。
⚠️ 不過這裡要提醒你，以上這兩種被動的用法對於母語者來說不是很常用，而且會覺得用 be thought to be 時句子會帶有所認為的事不是很肯定的感覺，所以他們反而會偏好用下一個要教的 be considered to be 來表達唷，所以上述的句子會變成：
Michael Jordan is widely considered to be the best basketball player.
He was considered to be very serious because he seldom laughed.
2. consider
consider 除了「考慮」之意，也有「認為」的意思，也是日常中很常使用的用法。
consider… (to be) …
consider 當認為之意時，還可以搭配 to be，整體意思是「認為…是…／把…視為…」，而 to be 通常會省略，例如：
Gina considers herself (to be) a great singer, but we don’t think so.
Gina 認為自己是一個很棒的歌手，但我們都不這麼認為。Jimmy considers math (to be) a difficult subject.
Jimmy 認為數學是一個很難的科目。
同樣地，這個句型也可以用被動語態來表示：
Thomas Edison is considered (to be) one of the most important inventors in history.
Thomas Edison 被視為歷史上其中一位重要的發明家。
📖 補充：可以用 consider… as… 嗎？
關於 consider 可否搭配 as 來使用是沒有確切答案的，大部分的字典都是用 consider… to be… 而已（或是把 to be 省略），但 Oxford Dictionary 提供的例句搭配 as、to be、省略三種都有，我也知道很多學校老師和教科書都是教 consider… (to be)… 的用法。
不過為了避免爭議，建議你還是以 consider… to be… 或是省略的用法為主，但是看到有人用 consider… as… 也不用認為是錯誤囉。
3. regard
regard 的用法比較少，沒有搭配 that 子句的用法。
regard… as…
regard 的用法會搭配 as，意思也是「認為…是…／把…視為…」，例如：
Sammy regards this dog as her best friend.
Sammy 把這隻狗視為她最好的朋友。Brian regards the death penalty as inhumane.
Brian 認為死刑是不人道的。
同樣地，這個句型也可以用被動語態來表示：
<Life of Pi> is generally regarded as a masterpiece.
《少年 Pi 的奇幻漂流》被廣泛地視為一個傑作。Dragons are regarded as auspicious by the Chinese.
龍被中國人認為是吉祥的。
4. perceive
perceive 比起 think 和 consider 會比較正式一點，可以表示「認為、看待」，例如：
How do the British perceive the Americans?
英國人是如何看待美國人的呢？How do you perceive your role in your family?
你怎麼看待自己在家中的角色呢？
perceive… as… / perceive… to be…
perceive 的用法搭配 as 或 to be 皆可，意思也是「認為…是…／把…視為…」，例如：
The painter perceives his work as/to be a masterpiece.
那個畫家認為他的作品是個傑作。Jason perceives himself as/to be a mature man.
Jason 認為自己是個成熟的人。
同樣地，這個句型也很常用被動語態來表示：
Caroline is perceived as/to be the most outstanding student at school.
Caroline 被認為是全校最傑出的學生。
5. reckon
reckon 是比較沒那麼正式的字，口語中較常使用，也有人會覺得 reckon 是比較粗俗一點的用語，所以會避免使用。
reckon (that)…
reckon 常搭配 that 子句，that 亦可省略，例如：
I reckon (that) it’s going to rain.
我覺得快下雨了。Do you reckon (that) you’ll win the game?
你覺得你能贏得那場比賽嗎？
be reckoned as… / be reckoned to be…
reckon 在表示「認為…是…／把…視為…」之意時，會使用被動語態為主，搭配 as 或 to be 都可以唷。
Columbus is reckoned as an interesting YouTuber.
= Columbus is reckoned to be an interesting YouTuber.
哥倫布被認為是一位有趣的 YouTuber。
6. believe
believe 也有「認為」的意味在，而且是這些動詞之中最強烈的，所以一般會翻成「相信」。
believe (that)…
believe 常搭配 that 子句用，that 亦可省略，例如：
I believe (that) he is telling the truth.
我相信他說的是實話。We all believe (that) this project will be successful.
我們都相信這份專案會成功。
be believed to be …
這個用法也通常會用被動語態，表示「據信…」，也就是「大家相信…是…」，例如：
The woman is believed to be alive.
據信那位女人還生還著。The painting is believed to be worth over ten thousand dollars.
據信那幅畫價值超過一萬元。
